Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
Property Access
- While enjoying your stay at Mountain Time Lodge, you have access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest.
- Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
Policies and Rules
- No pets allowed anywhere in or on the premises at any time, including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals with appropriate certification may be permitted, and the presence of a certified service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law.
- Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee.
- If any pets are discovered during your tenancy, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy (14 guests) allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.

- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
Fees and Payments
- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus 6.75% tax per night.
- All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee.
- Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
Parking and Vehicle Requirements
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Free parking is provided on-site.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. A starter set of paper products is provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens are provided for your stay.
- Hair dryer is provided.
Safety and Emergency Information
- Security Cameras are in place at four locations on the outside of the home. These do not point into the home or on decks.
- Eagles Nest is a community with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are present.
Amenity Use and Restrictions
- Amenities available to you include:
- Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (location of summer concerts from May to the end of November), Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course, 24/7 General Store (2 minutes from the home)
- North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsman's Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking)
- Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disc Golf, Archery (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon!)
- Vineyard: Food and Wine served; Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each. HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p. Sat & Sun 1p-7p. All visitors on premise at winery must be 16 years or older.

Cancellation Policy
- Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
